About InterviewTraining.ai

Many tradespeople are very good at their work. Talking about that work in an interview is a different skill.

The interview is often in English. The employer is in another country. They cannot watch you work, so they ask you to explain what you do. You have a short time to answer.

This is hard to practise. Reading a list of questions is not the same as answering out loud. Friends and family may not know your trade, or what an employer wants to hear.

We built InterviewTraining.ai so you can practise the speaking part again and again before the real interview.

• Interviewer videos. A pre-recorded interviewer asks the question on video. Then you answer out loud. Some questions show as text only, with no video yet.
• Questions written for each trade. Skills Practice asks about real skills in your trade. See the trades we have questions for now.
• Questions about you. General Practice covers you, your work day, your plans and why you want to move.
• Marking that looks at substance. Your answer is compared with a model answer. The marking looks at your ideas, steps and safety points. It does not mark down for accent, small grammar mistakes or simple words.
• Credit for a different method. If your method is different but valid, you get full credit.
• Time that fits your English level. You choose Foundation, Working or Fluent. Your level sets how long you have for each answer.
