Interview practice seats for your candidates

InterviewTraining.ai is spoken interview practice for tradespeople who want to work in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or Canada.

If you prepare candidates for employer interviews, you can buy seats for them. A seat is one candidate's access to the practice.

Talk to us

Who this is for

Migration agents

Your clients know their trade. Seats give them a way to practise explaining it in English before they meet an employer.

Registered training organisations (RTOs)

Add spoken interview practice beside your training. Learners practise in their own time, on a phone or a laptop.

Employers

Give the tradespeople you are talking to a way to practise trade questions, job-site situations and everyday work culture in your country.

How seats work

  1. Buy seats

Tell us how many candidates you have, their trades and their destination countries. We send you a quote for that number of seats.

  2. Give them to your candidates

You tell us who the seats are for. We set up the seat accounts for those candidates.

  3. Candidates practise

Each candidate signs in, chooses their trade, country and English level, and starts practising.

Please note: seat accounts are set up by us, under a separate agreement with your organisation. A self-service dashboard for organisations is not built yet. For now, we do the set-up with you directly.

What your candidates get

Each candidate gets the same practice as a person who signs up alone:

  • A video interviewer. A pre-recorded interviewer asks the question. The candidate answers out loud.
  • Trade questions. Skills Practice asks technical questions, grouped by skill.
  • Personal questions. General Practice covers their work, their plans and why they want to move.
  • Job-site situations. Real-Life Scenarios covers scenes such as a customer complaint or a safety risk.
  • A full timed interview. The Mock Interview mixes general and trade questions.
  • Work culture. Living & Working Here covers everyday work culture in the destination country.
  • Feedback after each spoken answer. A score from 0 to 10, what was good, what to add and a stronger answer.

The practice saves each candidate's place, so they can stop and continue later. See how it works for each step.

Our trades page shows the trades that have questions now. We are adding more, so tell us which trades you need.

Why practice helps candidates arrive ready

A skilled tradesperson can still find an interview hard. The questions are in English, and there is little time to think.

Practice lets a candidate:

  • hear the kinds of questions an employer may ask
  • explain a job step by step, in order
  • remember to talk about safety and checking their work
  • get used to answering with a timer running
  • try the same question again after reading the feedback

The marking looks at what the candidate says. It does not mark down for accent, small grammar mistakes or simple words.

We do not promise any result. Practice cannot guarantee a job, a visa, a sponsorship or a pass in a skills assessment. It helps candidates practise and feel ready.

Pricing

Seat pricing depends on the number of seats. We do not publish a price list for organisations. Talk to us and we will send you a quote.

Prices for one person are on our pricing page.

Privacy

A candidate's answers are personal information. Your organisation only sees what has been agreed with us.

We do not record a candidate's voice or camera. Only the text of each answer is kept. Our privacy policy explains what we collect and why.

Tell us what you need

Email us from our contact page. It helps if your message includes:

  • the type of organisation you are
  • about how many candidates you have
  • their trades and destination countries
  • when you would like to start

Questions and answers

Is there a dashboard for my organisation?

Not yet. A self-service dashboard for organisations is not built. For now, we set up seat accounts for you under a separate agreement.

Can we see our candidates' scores?

Your organisation only sees what has been agreed with us. Talk to us about what you need. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

Which trades and countries are covered?

The practice is for Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Canada. Our trades page shows the trades that have questions now. More trades are being added.

What do candidates need to practise?

A phone or a laptop with a microphone. Spoken answers work in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. If the microphone does not work, a candidate can type the answer.

Does the practice guarantee a job or a visa?

No. It is practice only. We are not linked to any government, visa authority, skills-assessment body or employer, and we do not give migration advice.
